I spent 96 hours in jail in Nov 2022. I was denied my hormone therapy while in there which resulted in my levels being dangerously low. Androgen blockers (testosterone blockers) last longer in the system than estrogen, and the human body needs both to function properly. It was an incredibly dark and traumatic time as I am also autistic and they kept me in general population with men. While I do journal and see a therapist, sound is how I process. These are the sounds of that processing. Raw, unfiltered, lyric-less stories of how close to the worst things got.
